Mary Ann Rousso specializes in creditors’ rights relating to commercial collection litigation, and covers the domestication of sister state judgments, registrations of district court judgments, renewals of judgments in both state and district courts, debtor fraud and fraudulent conveyance actions.  Ms. Rousso has extensive experience in post-judgment recovery ranging from basic bank levies, wage and money levies, real property levies, judgment debtor and third party examinations, assignment orders and charging orders, attachments of certain ERISA and privately held IRA accounts, piercing corporate veils, creditor’s suits, and court orders for the appointment of receivers.  Ms. Rousso has represented major national and state-chartered banking institutions, Fortune 500 equipment leasing corporations, other investment and financial services corporations as well as national title insurance companies on collection-related matters.

Prior to joining the firm as a paralegal in 1991, Ms. Rousso was a state-licensed private investigator.  With her investigative skills in conjunction with her legal background, Ms. Rousso located concealed assets and determined the available legal remedies to attach such assets through proper court intervention.

Ms. Rousso holds a Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis on Business Law from the California State University in Northridge and a Juris Doctor from University of West Los Angeles/San Fernando Valley College.  She is admitted to practice law in all state courts in California, and all four U.S. District Courts within the state.
